Tunnel Systems Engineering Manager, UGL Brisbane
Chris is currently the Tunnel Systems Engineering Manager for Cross River Rail with UGL, as part of the Design & Construct (D&C) Joint Venture. He has extensive experience in major underground infrastructure projects, specifically in the design of road and rail tunnels across Australia. Recent projects include his work on the M6 in Sydney and the North East Link in Melbourne.
Chris holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Project Management, and an MBA. He brings a broad range of expertise in mechanical and electrical tunnel systems, including fire and life safety and ventilation design. He enjoys tackling the challenges associated with large-scale infrastructure projects.
Before transitioning to road and rail tunnels, Chris worked in the mining industry, focusing on services design for tunnels, where he gained valuable construction and commissioning experience.
Chris will be presenting on Fire and Life Safety and Tunnel Systems on Thursday 28 November at 10:45am.
