Senior Project Manager – Tunnels & Motorways – Ventia
With operational experience gained across four states and over 15 years of managing Australia’s busiest Motorways and Tunnels, Chris has developed a unique view of the industry which aims to bring hands-on approach to all aspects of asset and maintenance management.
Chris has been extensively involved with the systems development and contract delivery of the O&M Contracts for Sydney’s M5 East Tunnel, Melbourne’s CityLink Motorway and Transurban’s Queensland Tunnel Network and currently manages a Project Delivery Team at Ventia which specialises in lifecycle solutions for Victoria’s Tunnels and Motorway Network. Chris has most recently led the development of the asset systems, maintenance plans and lifecycle strategies for the Alliance delivering the Torrens to Darlington Motorway Project in South Australia.
Chris will be presenting on Tunnel Maintenance and Operation on Thursday 28 November at 2:25pm.

The ATS Short Course 2024 is a multi-day event, designed to provide an introduction to the world of tunnels, being held in Brisbane 27-29 November. Event content will closely align with the latest edition of the ATS Tunnel Design Guideline and is a must for tunnelling professionals.
The course is delivered by experienced professionals from Australian tunnelling who have specialist knowledge in their discipline field.
