The Austroads Road Tunnels Task Force coordinates updates to the Austroads Guide to Road Tunnels, and coordinates the development of technical research projects considering all aspects of road tunnel planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance.

The Australian Tunnelling Society is a representative on the Task Force. The evening will feature an interactive presentation from Aurecon’s Technical Director and ATS Austroads representative, Tony Peglas.

The discussion includes an overview of the Task Force and its activities including recently completed, current and proposed Task Force projects relevant to tunnelling.
